Eyeball QSO on 5TH January 2025

_*Pune Hams enjoyed monthly  Eyeball QSO on Sunday 5th Jan 25 morning 10:30 AM onward*_.

The meeting started at 10:30AM. One min silence was observed in the memory of VU2AMK’s Mother who passed away on  Saturday 4th Jan 25 at 19:00 Hrs 

*Dr Ayyappan, Phd in Antennas* gave a brief presentation on various Antennas Cyronics produced for  Defence. The Cyronics has created a state of the art test facility at MECF available to all Industry R&D and Hams.

MECF is one of the largest CFCs (Common Facility Centers) approved by MeitY (Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology) under the EMC (Electronic Manufacturing Cluster) scheme. Our state-of-the-art 10m Semi Anechoic Chamber provides comprehensive testing capabilities, including testing available till IP 68_

The session was attended by 21 Hams and SWLs. It was truly interactive and a lot of interactions took place  with Dr Ayyappan & Nitin Bhonge. Pune Hams will get associated with Cyronics and help each other resolving Antenna related issues to create win win situation

Next month Eyeball QSO will be in MECF Lab and Hams will get an opportunity to test their home brewed Antennas  as well as commercial ones. 

OM Milind VU2VMV briefed about progress or *Project VHF   second Repeator* on Fort Simhagadh_. The Team efforts will realise with a New second  VHF Repeater for Pune
