More than 30 Hams and SWLs attended the interactive Eyeball. 70% were young Engg students
The visiting Hams viz. VU2SPM Shripal, Mumbai, & VU39VB Vivekanand, Manipal were given warm Welcome🌹
The newly joined Hams and SWLs gave their self introduction
The QSO started with a Networking High Tea sponsored by VU32GO OM Indrajeet.
VU3IFQ OM Manish gave knowledge sharing presentation on VNA nano focusing on Antenna measurement’s. It was an interactive session.
Antarikshsa Ham Radio Club of Dhole Patil CoEP under the dynamic leadership of Prof. Puja Pal showcased their various ambitious projects.
SWL Ajinkya Ingulkar shared Chinese Weather Satellite Monitoring system with a
new Antenna design, (with a demo) using VNA Nano.
He also projected launch of their micro satellite and its monitoring using APRS. The Balun Project with transponder found most interesting.
SWL Makarand and Prateek VU3YEK updated latest status of the APRS project having two Digipeaters.
It is an ambitious project of Pune Hams VU2RCP, for
RF connectivity across Maharashtra.
Pratik also shared his latest visit to Gorakshnath gad near Ahilya Nagar and successfully received digipeater signals from Fort Sinhagad
VU3FML OM Aniruddha successfully activated Echolink node on UHF Repeater VU2DYQ-R

Pune Hams are invited by GMRT Khodad for Ham Radio demo during Science Day on 28th Feb 2026. 10 Hams are already enrolled.
The next Eyeball QSO in January 2026 will be a Field Day with Hurda Party or as usual on Sun 4th Jan 26
The meeting ended with one minute silence in the memory of Ranga’s (VU3IZK) Mother and Nitin’s (VU2CAN) Father.
