I am very happy to share the very successful completion of VHF Yagi Antenna making Workshop at VU2DYP, Ajeenkya DY Patil University Pune followed by Fox Hunt. Thanks to Pune Hams VU2RCP for their two days support with excellent Team Work
Manish VU3IFQ, Ranga VU3IZK, SWL Makarand Vaidya, VU32GO, Kunal VU3YEJ, Kshitij VU2JDC, Amar VU36AN supported the 2 days event. Manish did a fantastic job showing leadership qualities. Ranga explained Stubb Matching in simple language. Indrajeet is now expert in hiding Fox
The activity started with Yagi Antenna making workshop on Friday 24th July 2026.
More than 30 E&TC students having Callsigns fabricated 9 Yagi Antennas from scratch.
All the Yagi’s were tested using VNA Nano. Thanks to Manish VU3IFQ for teaching them how to use Network Analyser
Next Day on Saturday 25th July 2026 all the students were ready for Fox Hunt.
The Fox Hunt was best learning 0f Radio Direction Finding and understanding Polarisation
The Winner and Runner Teams were rewarded with a Trophees

*The Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, HAM Radio Club, in association with IETE*, successfully conducted a *Hands-on Workshop* on Building a Yagi Antenna and Fox Hunt Technical Activity on 24th & 25th July 2026.
