- Networking over High Tea: The Eyeball commenced with networking over High Tea, sponsored by OM Ranga (VU3IZK).
- JSPM University CubeSat Presentation: The JSPM University team presented their ambitious “CubeSat” project and its ground station. The presentation was delivered by Dr. Preeti Toppanavar, HoD, E&TC Department. It was a highly interactive session, and Hams appreciated the university’s efforts. The project focuses on agriculture data. The ground receiving station is ready and is already monitoring several orbiting satellites. The CubeSat itself is under design and development in collaboration with ISRO and Dhruva. The flight model will be built by professionals, while the prototype will be built by students and will undergo extensive environmental testing. Overall, it was a very impressive presentation.
- Civil Defence Training: OM Manish and OM Indrajeet spoke in detail about their Civil Defence training. Pune Hams VU2RCP is proud to have 7 well-trained Hams in Civil Defence, holding special powers during emergencies.
- Merchant Navy Experience Sharing: SWL Milind Mahajan, ex-Radio Officer, Merchant Navy, shared his shipboard experience in handling emergencies. Morse code classes will shortly begin online on the Zoom platform.
- Technical Presentation – Festival Audio Systems: Milind also gave a short technical presentation on currently popular DJ, Plasma, and Pressure Mid audio systems used at festivals.
- Q&A and Closing: The meeting concluded with Q&A, closing remarks, and announcements.
